Another week has passed by, and with it, a lot of new things learned, and with it doesn't always mean about tech stuff, mostly communication and organization. As I just said before I have never been in a project with many teammates, we are 8 in total, but all of them participate and contribute to the project. Unfortunately, we have a teammate that got sick, but as a great team we divide his work and, we are giving him our support, not letting him worried about the work.

This week I learned more about MongoDB and more of the methods of mongoose, I need to learn the docs because some of the methods I use were deprecating, so I better change them to the new ones.

We are using QR codes, so we have to learn a little about them, and how to save data in them, and we implement a reader so we can give the users of the system the facility to see the information quickly so they don't waste time searching all they need. Looking for the best npm package, I found a page where you can compare many softwares, and you can even see who has the most downloads and what are the issue that the package had in the past, so that's how we decide to use react-qr-reader.

This week we are going to deploy the web app, I don't know if I can say where we are going to deploy it, but well is a very popular hosting, and of course, is free, so I needed to review some videos of how to deploy the projects, because we are going to need to do 2 deployments, one for the Backend, and another one for the FrontEnd.

Hope once we deliver the final demo, I can share the link, so you can check our web app, that we have built-in only 4 weeks, of course, is an MVP but hope the client will be happy with it.

Sorry if I don't say more about the week, but there are some things that are private, and we can tell much about it, but one thing I can say, has been an awesome project where I have learned a lot and of course, a project where I have developed my skills to communicate.

Thanks a lot for reading ‘till the end, see you next week.
